The male energy of the sun is connected to our basic self, ego, our aspirations and our will. Its powerful energy creates life on our planet. Sun Gazer Hira Ratan Manek recommends daily sun gazing to improve mental health, positive thinking and get even health benefits as its activates the pineal gland. The pineal gland is associated with our third eye chakra (Ajna chakra) and connects us to our spirit as its the doorway to all things psychic. Am testing this little experiment the next few weeks to see if I can feel the effect.
How does it work? The best time to do sun gazing is 90min after sunrise or 90min before sunset. Find a spot where you can stand barefoot and look 15-30 seconds in the sun. Don’t worry the sun is not so strong at those times, but in case you have sensitive eyes or recently any laser treatments please consult your doctor, just to be on the safe side. After the 15-20 seconds, close your eyes and keep your face towards the sun and receive the sun 4,5min on top, just with closed eyes. You can even visualize the sun between your eyebrows. To close the practice, walk for 15-20min barefoot in nature and enjoy this time just for yourself in silence. And in case its cloudy simply look into the direction of the sun, it still works :) When I was in Bali I tried it already a few times. We were standing one hour before sunset at the beach and nourished ourselves with the sun. Some people did it on a regular base and replaced even their dinner with the sun energy.
